June 2009: Storm damage and artifacts unearthed

While we were gone to Atlanta in early June, an unexpected storm swept through the neighborhood, with a lot of heavy rain. I'm not sure how long the rain lasted, but it was intense enough to wash out our pebble path and to expose the plastic we had put underneath it. . .

The water washed the gravel over the hose . . .
I believe we bought our house from a woman who had son roughly the age of Jenny and me. I occasionally find pieces of plastic that resemble little parts of toys I remember from the 80s. I can't remember whether it was before or after the flash flooding, but I recently came across this obscure archaelogical find . . . a small piece of plastic with colors and contours that immediately reminded me of a He-man castle I once had.

It was something like this (see picture below) . . . officially called Castle Grayskull, although I vaguely remember it coming with a microphone that distorted my voice as I spoke into it (so that a boy's voice sounds ominous, but in a synthesized way). What do you think? I'm pretty sure I nailed it.
