The corn did better this year, mostly because of the extra rain in the spring.  I didn't notice it at first, but then Jenny was impressed and I went back and checked the pictures from last year.  Sure enough, these are respectable ears.


 
 
 The kernels were as sweet and juicy as ever.  You don't get a whole lot of corn out several rows, but what you get is well worth it.  Here's the remainder of the corn rows, already starting to dry out . . .
 
 
There were a some more squash that developed; I think these first ones are spaghetti squash . . . (I didn't pick them til July, and I still haven't cooked them.  I think they're "winter" squash, so they store longer.)
