After a couple rains, I found a couple of the watermelons had split open. Jenny posits this happens b/c they're overwhelmed by the sudden water intake. I don't know, but it happens to other fruit too. Don't worry, I salvaged these.
Now here's a peculiar fruit. It grew on a melon vine of some sort, but by the time it was developing, I had forgotten what I planted there. In retrospect, I'm pretty sure it's a honeydew.
I picked the spaghetti squash along with some tomatoes and the last, somewhat sad cucumber:
